Romantic, Whimsical Winter Wedding at Fingask Castle | Emily & Scott

Kicking off 2018 are these two gorgeous people at the stunning Fingask Castle in Perthshire. The air was cold but the day was so happy and warm. The morning welcomed us with a surprise blizzard of snow that no one expected in mid March!

Emily got ready in the castle with her sisters and her best friend, and what s stunning room to get ready in! It was such a fun and relaxed morning, even if we did have to peel Emily away from the windows are she kept anxiously checking the swirling snow!

They chose the venue for the sweetest reason- Emily and Scott met at art school and he declared his feeling by picking a bunch of snowdrops and leaving them on her desk. When searching for the perfect venue they discovered Fingask was lined with snowdrops and it was immediately clear to them that this was the place for them. Emily wore a snowdrop inspired flower crown and just look so stunning - I love how she tied her tiny size 2 shoes on to her feet with ribbon to stop them slipping off - just genius!

Emily and Scott were surrounded by so many friends and family who travelled far and wide from Switzerland to Singapore to celebrate with them. Scott's Singaporean family were loving the kilts and everyone had an incredible time with a good old fashioned, foot stomping ceilidh. There were so many beautiful and unique touches to this wedding, Emily's sister Beth made the cake which included hilarious little models of them and their cat Moby and Scott made the incredible centre pieces himself. I’m just so thankful to have been hired to capture it all.
